
ACM is one of the world's top international shipbrokers, providing a full range of integrated shipbroking services for the global market.
Present CEO Johnny Plumbe co-founded ACM in 1982, since then the Group has grown to become one of the leading international tanker brokers that provides a range of services including spot/period chartering, derivatives brokerage, sale and purchase, new buildings and demolition. Over the past 28 years, the Group has matured into a successful tanker broking company and has created a strong record of staff retention, thereby assisting in building and maintaining strong long-term relationships, at all levels within client organisations. ACM's services continue to evolve and in 2010 the Group entered the dry cargo market.
ACM was admitted to AIM on 6 December 2006. We have expanded our international operations and now employ over 110 staff with offices based in London, Singapore, Australia, India and China. On 6 December 2007 the Group acquired ACM Shipping Services, a company focusing on sale and purchase of ships. Then on 23 June 2008 the Group acquired the Shipbroking business of Harris & Dixon Shipbrokers, a business specialising in small tankers.
On 1 July 2010 the Group acquired the business of Endeavour Shipbrokers Pty Limited, a dry cargo shipbroker based in Australia. This followed the group having set up a new dry cargo venture in London.
